ISE 2026: Accelerating IPMX and JPEG XS Innovation

ISE 2026 once again proved how fast the Pro-AV industry is evolving—and how central IPMX is becoming in shaping the future of AV over IP.

At the intoPIX booth, we had the pleasure of meeting many partners, customers, and industry experts. These discussions were incredibly valuable, confirming strong momentum around interoperability, low latency, and software-defined workflows.

We are proud to contribute to this innovation and to be part of such a dynamic ecosystem.

What intoPIX showcased at ISE 2026

During the show, intoPIX demonstrated a complete ecosystem of solutions built around IPMX and JPEG XS—covering codecs, software, SDKs, and embedded designs.

Pushing JPEG XS performance further

The latest evolution of the TicoXS codec brings new levels of performance and flexibility:

  • 8K60 4:4:4 support over 2.5G and 10G networks

  • Dual-stream encoding (4K master + 1K proxy) from a single encoder

  • Ultra-low latency (<100µs) enabled by TDC (Temporal Differential Coding)

  • Availability on FPGA, CPU, and GPU

These innovations enable high-quality video transport—even for challenging content such as desktop applications or KVM—while maintaining extremely low latency.

Simplifying IPMX workflows with Titanium software Suite

With the Titanium software suite, intoPIX demonstrated how IPMX workflows can be deployed and managed on standard COTS hardware:

  • Seamless interoperability with certified IPMX devices

  • Integration with production tools like OBS and vMix

  • Support for control rooms, live events, and unified communications(Zoom, Teams)

  • Intuitive tools for stream discovery, routing, and monitoring

This approach makes IPMX more accessible and flexible across a wide range of applications.

Enabling developers with Titanium SDK 2.0

intoPIX also introduced version 2.0 of its Titanium SDK, designed to accelerate IPMX product development:

  • Support for NMOS, PTP, AES67, JPEG XS, and SMPTE ST 2110

  • Deployment on x86 CPU-based systems

  • Ideal for OEMs and integrators building next-generation AV solutions

The SDK provides a powerful foundation to quickly integrate IPMX into new or existing products.

Unlocking new possibilities with embedded IPMX and AI

One of the highlights of the booth was the Titanium EDK (Embedded Development Kit), demonstrating how to bring IPMX to embedded platforms:

  • Convert any camera into an IPMX device

  • Compact FPGA SoC design supporting full IPMX stack

  • Integration with NVIDIA Jetson for real-time AI processing

  • Applications such as object detection, overlays, and smart video workflows

Combined with JPEG XS ultra-low latency, this opens the door to a new generation of AI-driven AV over IP applications.
