Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium, January 20, 2026 –intoPIX, a leading provider of innovative image compression technologies, and PlexusAV, a pioneer in IPMX solutions for the professional AV market, today announced the launch of PlexusAV’s new IPMX-ready P-AVN-4E and P-AVN-4D, dedicated encoder and decoder solutions leveraging the intoPIX TicoXS FIP codec, with support for the JPEG XS Temporal Differential Coding (TDC) profile.
The P-AVN-4E and P-AVN-4D represent a significant step forward in PlexusAV’s IPMX product portfolio. Designed as dedicated encoder and dedicated decoder devices, they provide integrators with greater deployment flexibility while simplifying AV-over-IP system architectures. Like other PlexusAV P-AVN products, they rely on intoPIX’s proven TicoXS FIP technology to deliver high performance, ultra-low latency, and full IPMX interoperability.
The integration of JPEG XS TDC further enhances the solution by optimizing bandwidth usage without compromising image quality or latency. By leveraging temporal similarities between successive frames, the TDC profile enables visually lossless video transport over standard 1-Gigabit Ethernet networks, supporting scalable and cost-effective IPMX installations.
